How does boot fitting work?

Feet are as individual as fingerprints. We therefore measure your feet exactly, analyse your movements and recommend the item that best meets your needs.
Fitting - Individual boot fitting
The second step begins with the actual “boot fitting" process, with each brand having its own technology to produce the perfect fit. The focus of all of them is that the boot is made to fit the foot, and not the other way round.
SALOMON CUSTOM SHELL
In the case of Salamon boots, the outer shell is heated, the inner is 3-D pre-shaped. Cooling takes place whilst wearing the boot. The boot feels as though it has been poured around your foot.
ATOMIC MEMORY FIT
Memory Fit is the unique technology used by Atomic in the thermal fitting of boot shells, cuff and inner. Your standing bodyweight is used for determining the shape of the shoe after the shell has been heated.
FISCHER VACUUM FIT
After the shell has been heated, the customer steps into it wearing the inner shoe. This is cooled and, using a vacuum station, pressure is exerted on the shell, precisely moulding the boot to the foot.
